You've just rear-ended someone at a red light and damaged the car in front of you. Now is when your PDL is going to come into play.
PDL stands for "Property Damage Liability." PDL is coverage that applies to the damaged property in an accident. It covers damage to the other party's vehicle, which includes repairs and replacement costs. This applies if you are at fault in an accident. It does not cover damage to your car if you are at fault (that's where your collision coverage comes in).
